In addition to providing organizational support and issue specific organizing strategies, Pesticide Watch regularly receives calls and emails from individuals concerned about pesticides and food systems who are seeking general information. We answer questions, connect people with the appropriate experts, and work with people to address their concerns.
After we are contacted by a community, resident or organization, our staff will meet with individuals and work with them to build a strategic campaign. In some cases, this means helping to build a new organization, while in others, it means improving the capacity of existing organizations. We support the efforts of these community groups by providing organizing assistance, information and research, access to a broad network of experts of activists, and conferences and trainings.
